It is not the destination that teaches us the greatest lessons. It is the journey! Open up to exploring, creating, breathing and being alive again. Step by step each day is amazing. Friday we left, drove to Vegas to eat at fast food places, walk around the strip for 3 hours, parked in the sky, found a pretzel for Lyd to eat in an ally with dancers and a band, and got home at 2:30 am after hitting a very large jackrabbit. Boy that was fun!!! It wasn't my idea and I still love him.

I believe being slightly wacky helps me keep my sanity (whatever that is) and I firmly believe that perception is rarely reality. Some of my simple pleasures are handmade soap and hazelnut gelato. There are no mistakes so go out and create your day!
