Folk Dancing

Assuming. This is something that I rarely do, almost never. It usually brings about misunderstanding. Kind of a cardinal rule to never assume. So... when we went to the Square last night for our weekly new family activity night on the Square and the schedule said, " International Folk Dancers" I assumed. Wrong, of course.
Instead of some fantastic group of costumed dancers doing an incredible performance. We joined a crowd watching a group of incredibly in-shape and fit old people doing dances from all kinds of countries and having a really good time. Maliea joined in on the audience participation part and was not too bad herself. We ate bread , cheese and fruit...but no wine just water. Quayde and Lydia joined some other kids and played tag on the lawn and we laid on our blanket and really enjoyed the unique entertainment. I guess the dancers now have to share Wednesday evenings with the parks and rec movie night so every other week they will be there and we already know that the movies this summer are all dog movies. Next week is Benji and the kids are begging not to go. We are going anyway 'cause it will be fun to torture them.
